Vo|t dice

New Horizon has applied the Volt role-playing system for its Role Playing Games (RPGs).

In New Horizon RPGs, a character's ability to affect the world is described as a number of Attributes. The value of the Attribute indicates how competent the character is in that particular area.

Vo|t uses exactly one type of dice roll. Basically, it's used to determine the outcome of actions, taken either by a character or an NPC. It uses two 20-sided dice. Ideally, the two dice should be in different colors. Any combinations will do, but we will assume that one die is black and that the other one is white.

The results of the rolled dice are not added together, but remain separate. Each result is compared to the Target Number, usually the value of a suitable Attribute, and if at least one of the results are equal to or lower than the value of the target number, the action is a success.
